Founded in 1953 by brothers Juan, José and Vicente, Lladró is a multinational company that despite its size, has never stopped being a craft workshop.
In the City of Porcelain, in Tavernes Blanques (Valencia), where the headquarters of the company and its only factory are located, about 1,000 people work to bring to life the Lladró figurines, following the traditional handcrafted process that ensures quality high standards in their creations. From there they are exported to over 120 countries on five continents through a network of about 1000 distributors, including a select number of own boutiques in major cities worldwide.
In the brand’s boutiques, the classic Lladró lives along with the purest design of the collections by the Lladró Atelier, the company’s laboratory of ideas; with the spectacular High Porcelain sculptures, its highest artistic category; with the functional lighting collections, wallart and l'art de la table; and with the Lladró sculptures, with matte porcelain pieces made with synthetic lines.
Today, 60 years later and with Juan Lladró and his daughters Rosa and Ángeles leading the company, Lladró keeps reinventing itself, betting on new lines, especially in the functional aspect of home decoration . An example of an eclectic and global brand just like the world we live in.
